Filipe Duarte Gago da Conceição Gonçalves was born in Lisbon, August 29, 1978. His interest in comics manifest itself quite early resulting in a prolific carrer. In his work it's noticeable the influence of several of his prefered authors like Jack Kirby, Giorgio Cavazzano, Moebius, André Franquin and Osamu Tezuka.
As Znok editor, he published several of his own comic books. But there have been also collaborations in magazines like Kzine, Zona Monstra, Zona Nippon and Australian magazine Something Weird under the script of American Kurt Belcher.
As a teacher he has conducted workshops dedicated to comics and illustration, in diverse locations like School Bento de Jesus Caraça, Youth Association Ponte and City Library of Penamacor.
As a student has taken courses in Illustration and Comics at Ar.Co - Center for Art and Visual Communication, and participated in several workshops promoted by various organizations, including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Kingpin books.
